Royal Ascot is well-known for its prestigious and tasteful reputation, always known as a huge socialising event and a spectacle of fashion and style. From the 14h till the 18th the days will be full of different events with six top-class races.
With Tuesday being the day where it all kicks off, followed by the more relaxed and gentle paced Wednesday. Thursday will be known as the day fashion takes centre stage with the Gold Cup taking place that day. On Friday there is the group one coronation stakes being a great lead-into a long and exciting weekend. With the finale on the Saturday, it finishes off with Diamond Jubilee stakes. The week will be full of fine dining, picnics in the sun and drinking.
The Royal Ascot have a classy and unique dress code, I checked out their Style Guide video, and the dress code for the event is that dresses and skirts should fall above the knee of longer, jackets and pashminas may be worn, trouser suits are welcome but must be full length with matching material and colour and lastly, hats should be worn with grace and class.
