This year we saw sparkles, lots of gold, big dresses and glamour as the celebrities hit the red carpet once again! Jessica Chastain arrived in a strapless blush gown with mass amounts of white sequins and crystals, custom designed by Giorgio Armani. Wearing scarlet red lipstick and fashioning the Hollywood curls hairstyle, she looked uber sophisticated and chic.
Actress nominee Amy Adams wore Oscar De La Renta, a gorgeous strapless gown in a sweet lavender hue with dramatic ruffled skirt, making a fabulous entrance.
The 2013 Golden Globes wasn't just one that celebrated our most favoured celebrities but it also showcased the most glamorous gowns seen on the red carpet. We were dazzled with the array of garments modelled stunningly on our celebs, with some opting for striking deep reds and black tones and others going for a pastel based palette.
Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, and Isla Fisher glowed in pale tones. Megan Fox wore a piece by Dolce & Gabbana and looked stunning as she strolled down the red carpet. Amanda opted for Givency Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, appearing feminine and sweet with pale pinks and lace combined. Isla shone in a heavily embellished gown by Reem Acra.
With thoughts turning towards Spring, a little something we tend to forget is updating our beauty regime, gone are the dark hues of Winter and we say goodbye to lips being the focus. We welcome in the season of the eyes with a host of glittering lids, coloured liners and intensely long lashes All four major fashion weeks shone a spotlight on a highly detailed eye and falwlessly finished skin helped with a touch of clever contouring. Lips stayed bright and colourful but could only be seen with a entirely matte finish.
This seasons beauty trends see a return to femininity with a pop of neon colour and a touch of bronzed glamazonian.
We've all been affected by the phenomenon that is Downton Abbey, traditional English style at it's best! And this season see's it filtering through to our winter trend focus after hitting the catwalks.
Represented by the best of British, Burberry Prosum and Alexander McQueen both flaunted this look in their shows. Playful and extreme the style on the catwalk can be broken down and stripped back to be a likeable and more pratical trend.
Think of a shooting weekend away - and what comes into your mind? Corduroy trousers, fairisle knits, jodphurs and pringle socks! It all sounds alot of fun! But on a day to day basis think of chunky jumpers, tweed caps and elbow patches!
