The ultimate statement pieces arrived this week...Bolongaro Trevor has graced us with an edgy military themed collection mixed with sultry gothic glamour. I dont know about you but, i love everything military...it never fails to date, every year its re-invented, you can never have enough oversized buttons, shoulder epaulettes and gold trim! A key item of the bolongaro trevor collection this season is the maxi alden coat...with its double breasted fastenings and romantic ruffles! We are definatley fighting over this one in store!
Also a prominent story is anything dark and gothic...a little sinister yes, but worn in the right way, it can be so alluring. Worked through the Bolongaro Trevor collection in a series of prints including skulls, birds and possesed bunny rabbits! This can be found bold as brass on printed tees and blouses or wear it subtly in a simple printed silk scarf. Also available in this collection are hints of lace and heavy embellishment...worn in a sexy evening dress or statement waistcoat. Knitwear is also a major player, with cable cardigans and felt wraps adding warmth to an other wise delicate assortment.
We love Bolongaro Trevor for its unique style and quirkiness, with more to come this season...its one to watch for unforgetful peices.
bye for now...

The simple, yet classic Breton Top was worn mainly by French sailor's long before Madame Coco changed the fashion scene in the 1930's. The nautical-looking top truly conjures up the essence of Coco Chanel. This classic piece should be a key player in every girl's wardrobe, simply because by pairing it with a simple pair of rolled up jeans - et viola...nothing else to say dressed-down chic never looked so good.
This spring/summer, havetolove has stocked up on the most adorable Breton top, from Sonia By Sonia Rykiel, who once again puts her quirky touch in to a classic piece by adding a detachable chain necklace, decorated with mini Eiffel Towers. The 'Je T'aime Paris' style is perfect for this season's Parisian trend. The stripes are perfect for any nautical look. One simple top, fit for two different trends...Coco Chanel would be proud!
The nautical trend is again key this spring, where stripes will dominate, providing us with that crisp classic look which always looks so effortlessly chic. Whether it be quirky striped tops or sweaters, teamed with a classic cut jeans and a rolled up arm blazer, the look is so simple. We expect to cater to all your nautical needs this season, with not only Sonia By Sonia Rykiel following suit, but also Bolongaro Trevor and Manoush!
To polish the look, we have the perfect selection of 'look at me' sunglasses...the ideal option being the Marc Jacobs square frame navy shades! (as pictured) But the motto here is the bigger the better! and we have no shortage of oversized sunnies...classic oval shapes from Marc By Marc Jacobs with colourful logo detailing, or the perfect Jackie O style, jet black with a fully tinted lense...now that's dramatic.
Or if you like to lead the fash pack, as we do, avaitors remain the style that speaks volumes. Whethers its fresh and colourful from Carrera or sultry and statement from Alexander McQueen...we have everything to perfect the nautical look.

New spring/summer collections have arrived at havetolove, and already we can see this season is shaping up to be very exciting, with key pieces dominating, havetolove has picked out our favourite stand out styles. Military jackets remain popular as a transitional cover up, with By Malene Birger offering a white linen style with gold embellishment; or for something more daring try Bolongaro Trevor's short sharp tux with amped up shoulder pads. Leather jackets in tonal nude hues are a great alternative if military is not your style; we love By Malene Birger cropped tan biker jacket with gold zip details, which you can style to your mood. But not forgetting that adding feminine flutters to your structured style is key this spring, with light silks, chiffons and linens giving a seasonal appeal.
Accessorising this summer couldnt be more fun...with the arrival of Disney Couture's Alice in Wonderland jewellery. Coinciding with the movie release, we all have the opportunity to be mad hatter's and decorated ourselves in this wonderful collection, with key inspired bracelets and chess influences rings to name a few! To add that finishing touch to your season, havetolove introduces Essie nail polish to its selection, with this seasons must have colours of tonal grey and peachy coral.
Bye for now...
