Jubilee Fever at HaveToLove..

The Diamond Jubilee weekend is fast approaching and we have been getting in the spirit of things this week at HaveToLove ready for the big event! To celebrate the Queen’s 60 years on the throne from the 2^nd-5^th June, we decided to brighten up our window display with a touch of classic British décor- with a hint of HaveToLove style of course!

In our signature colours of pink, black and white we created strings of homemade bunting featuring crown, union jack and heart motifs to create an eye catching contrast effect which we think looks fabulous draped across our boutique window and makes a change from the traditional flag colours. Also on central display is our bicycle which we of course gave the HaveToLove makeover to fit in with our themed window, using pink and white ribbons to decorate it and finishing it off with a selection of wrapped parcels ready for delivery in the basket!

We think our Jubilee window brings creativity and style to the occasion, and we are definitely feeling proud to be British after putting together our decorations, take a look at the pictures on our Twitter and Instagram for a sneak peek..

Cannes Film Festival 2012

Yes it's that time again, the Cannes Film Festival has arrived and this years is promising to be the most star studded it has ever been.

There’s going to be so much, hot red carpet style to see over the next 11 days from the Cannes Film Festival and that's why we have concentrated on the opening couple of days. But we here at HaveToLove think you’ll love it, jam-packed with one jaw dropping glamorous A-lister after the other. Everyone’s a winner!

Starting with Diane Kruger wearing a lace-up burgundy mini dress by Versus and mesh sandals for the Jury photocall, but not content with one gown though, oh no, she slipped on a Giambattista Valli mint dress grecian inspired gown for the opening ceremony.

Freida Pinto went for an elegant day look in a glamorous pastel pink Michael Angel gown, and then went sexy vamp for the evening in a daring, black sheer sequins Versace with a very high slit.

Eva Longoria was hands down wore the best dress for the day. Looking breath taking in a sleek backless Marchesa gown, encompassed with intricate embroidered details before stopping short of the gorgeous tulle train which flows behind her. Again changing into a sexy sheer black with lace detailing floor length dress.

It wasn't only the younger starlets that made a big impact, the forever young Jane Fonda put some of her contemporaries half her age in the shade. Wearing a Atelier Versace shimmering bronze gown that showed off decolletage and fantastic figure.

A Touch of Gothic Glamour..

Tim Burton’s latest movie ‘The Dark Shadows’ premiered in London on Wednesday night and the red carpet was full of gothic style glamour in line with the vampire fantasy style of the film. Actress Eva Green turned out in a floor length Tom Ford deep navy blue velvet number, looking every inch the superstar with its slashed neckline and structured shoulders. Her pale complexion added to the gothic look, which she completed with a slick of scarlet lipstick.

Other stars trying out the gothic trend were younger actress and star of the film Chloe Moretz who wore a gorgeous Alexander McQueen cocktail dress in a deep ruby red velvet with embellished detailing. She finished off the look with a pair of chunky platforms, and belted the dress at the waist for a cinched in silhouette. Michelle Pfieiffer, one of the lead roles of the film also opted for a deep red hue but kept things simple in a beautiful strapless satin burgundy Lanvin gown, teamed with a pair of black peep toes.

Dressed To Impress at Fashions Biggest Event..

The fashion world’s equivalent of the Oscars, the Costume Institute Gala, took place on Monday night in New York and with it being one of the most important annual fashion events, the stars were definitely dressed to impress. Each year’s Met Ball has a theme and this years was ‘Schiaparelli and Prada- Impossible Conversations’ celebrating the two Italian women designers whose work challenged the conventional idea of what was beautiful or chic.

The event brought a mixture of outrageous ensembles , however those that kept it simple and chic also stood out from the crowd. Some of the stars who made it to the HaveToLove ‘best dressed list’ were Gwyneth Paltrow in a stunning silk backless Prada number, making everyone envious of her super long slim legs in the short dipped hem style of the dress. We also loved Camilla Belle’s Ralph Lauren floor length gown, which was a gorgeous embellished ivory tulle piece that featured delicate beading along with subtle mesh panels to the back. She styled the figure hugging dress with a glamorous Hollywood style up-do and sultry make-up for a classic red carpet look.
