Have To Love is an Award Winning independent fashion boutique located in the heart of Gosforth, Newcastle. Opened in 2006, Have To Love offers something boutique style clothing at high street prices.   Featured in Best Boutiques Vogue Magazine twice and recently Best North East retailer at the English independent retail awards, Have To Love offers a touch of luxury at affordable prices from designer inspired pyjamas to real fur hooded down coats.

History

Designer Kate Walton graduated with a BA Hons in Fashion Marketing at Northumbria University.  Kate launched her brand Have To Love after Graduate Fashion Week with her initiative handbag collection.  After working at Hugo Boss UK Sales, the Entrepreneur opened an independent fashion boutique with a difference in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Have To Love prides itself on buying for a sophisticated, fun, female audience. In an interview with the Chronicle, Kate said “you’ve got to be different. If you are buying right, the customer will trust your eye, and keep coming back”.

It is the personal connection with customers that keep them coming back and creates loyalty and friendship with the Have To Love brand.

In April 2019, reflecting the growing demand for women’s lounge wear, Kate delivered her active wear range and described the collection as “functional, stylish, lasts well and doesn’t cost a fortune”. 10% of every sale from the active wear collection goes to the charity Breast Cancer Care. A charity close to Kate’s heart as she faced her own personal struggle with breast cancer over four years ago.
